Skid steer attachments are not universal. Attachments manufactured before the 1970s may only be compatible with skid steers from the same brand. However, most attachments manufactured since the 1970s use the Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) system — also referred to as Universal Quick Attach (UQA) — as a common standard.
